Got a question for Ask Scott? Send it to scottmiller (at) 125records.com and put "Ask Scott" in the subject line. Read the latest installment, featuring Scott's thoughts on the passing of Alex Chilton (updated: March 29, 2010).

"Music—What Happened?" is a one-year replacement for Ask Scott: you pick a year from the fifty-year span of 1957 to 2006, Scott selects and describes recordings from that year that would constitute his time-capsule CD. One per week in the order requested. Read the final installment (updated: Sept. 21).

New Scott Miller song: Scott has recorded a cover of Chris Stamey's "Cara Lee," and thanks to everyone who donated to our project at DonorsChoose.org, it is now available free to everyone! Thanks so much to Scott for doing this! "Cara Lee" MP3

Many of the Loud Family recordings, including What If It Works? and the Alias albums, are now available for download at iTunes and eMusic.

If you're looking for something from the old LF site, you might find it here.

Gil Ray, former Loud Family/Game Theory drummer who guests on What If It Works?, has just released his debut solo album, I Am Atomic Man! The CD is available in a signed, limited edition. Buy it at 125 Records. And you totally need to read Gil's awesome blog.

If you can read Portuguese, don't miss this interview with Scott Miller from Mofo. If you can't, check out the English translation.

Be our friend or just listen to some tracks from the new CD at the Loud Family's MySpace page.
